RTAuthenticator offers Android and HarmonyOS clients. The Android release currently available on this website is 0.1.3, for 64-bit devices running Android 6.0 or later. For the native HarmonyOS app, check device compatibility in Huawei AppGallery. The two installation packages are not interchangeable.

Android: download and install the APK

  1. Open the official website in your phone’s system browser and choose “Download for Android”. If you are using a computer, scan the download QR code on the homepage with your phone.
  2. Open rowstop-auth-0.1.3.apk after the download finishes. If Android asks whether this browser may install apps, check that the file came from this website and follow the system prompt. Managed devices may have additional restrictions.
  3. Open the app and follow its first-use instructions to set up local access protection. Allow camera access when you want to add a token by scanning.

HarmonyOS: install from Huawei AppGallery

  1. Open this website on your HarmonyOS phone and choose “HarmonyOS AppGallery”.
  2. Check the app identity and follow the marketplace instructions. If your device is not supported, use the compatibility information shown there. An Android APK is not a replacement for the native HarmonyOS app.
